Taking a moment to nurture yourself, pausing when you are in the midst of chaos or recalibrating when it's time to listen to your inner voice. Taking a moment to celebrate the joy you are experiencing. This is my hope when you start your daily rituals. This spring brought a surge of change and working from home proved to be a challenge in and of itself. I found comfort in small experiences of daily ritual including lighting a candle, setting a daily intention or placing scent on my temples and wrists. Vinny, our family pet also helps with grounding.
Golden Milk Latte:
1 tbsp turmeric
1 tsp fresh ground pepper
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cups unsweetened almond milk.
With care and intention,
Place turmeric, pepper and cinnamon in medium saucepan on medium high heat.
let spices cook for a moment and then add 1/2 cup water
boil 1-2 mins.
Add 2 cups unsweetened almond milk and whisk until steaming
gently pour into your favorite hand-made mug, taking care not to get the spices in the mug.
